Simple… easy…durable…..Urban Garden Workshop raised bed garden kits are a durable planter box system that uses less water, creates higher yields, and are easier to maintain than standard gardens.  Using only environmentally sourced woods, these stylish garden boxes come with gopher wire and aluminum rods for easy installation.

All boxes are minimum of 2 Tiers ( 11″ Tall) with the option to expand up to 4 Tiers in height ( 22″ inches).

We also offer gopher wire if you are worried about critters burrowing into your vegetables from below. This will help protect your food, but is not always necessary.

Built from high-quality, weather-resistant materials, this bed helps improve soil conditions, reduce weeds, and maximize yield in a small footprint.

Our Square Raised Garden Bed Kit is designed for quick and easy installation. Follow these steps to get started:

Tools You’ll Need:

  • Rake

  • Level

  • Hammer

  • Measuring Tape

  • Carpenter’s Square

Installation Instructions:

  1. Prepare Your Site:
    Use a rake or shovel to clear the area of rocks, weeds, and debris. Ensure the surface is level for proper alignment.

  2. Optional: Rodent Protection:
    If needed, lay down hardware cloth to deter burrowing animals. Be cautious of sharp edges when handling.

  3. Assemble the First Tier:
    Lay the first set of wooden boards in a square shape on top of the hardware cloth. Insert an aluminum rod in each corner to secure the frame. Use your measuring tape to check that the diagonal measurements match, ensuring your frame is square.

  4. Stack Remaining Tiers:
    Continue adding tiers as needed—our kits are available in Two Tier, Three Tier, and Four Tier options.

  5. Secure Aluminum Rods:
    Once all tiers are stacked, gently tap down any rods sticking up using your hammer.

  6. Optional Tie-Rod Installation (for 8′ or 12′ Beds):
    Larger beds come with a center tie-rod to prevent bowing. Attach it at the halfway point (4’ or 6’ mark) using the provided hardware.
